Customer Stories from United Telephone
Customer Comes Back to United for the Real Deal 4/09
Jeanne Turnipseed and her husband say they switched their telephone service to another provider because their bundle sounded like a good deal and they thought they would save some money. But after the first year the deal ran out and their prices "sky rocketed," not to mention the telephone service was lacking in quality, Jeanne recounts.
"We didn't take into account that with the other provider when your cable is out you don't have telephone service either. There was also a fuzziness on the line," she said.
So they quickly made a move back to the Real Deal --United Telephone-- for their telephone service and their High Speed Internet, where the "service is always good and the rates were even better."

Nolensville Customer Tells His Story
Vincent Thompson recently came back to United Telephone after a short and unsatisfying stay with a cable provider’s version of telephone service. “It was ok for about three days, then I started hearing an overbearing echo during calls. I do business from home, and this immediately started to impact my work with clients,” says Vincent. “We then experienced dropped calls more frequently until the service just completely shut down. Their customer service was very insensitive to the nature of the problem. And I’m still being billed for the service that was disconnected!”
Vincent called United Telephone to “come back” and was almost instantly up and running with what he describes as “consistent and solid” service. “United always delivers on their word, plus their prices are always stable,” says Vincent. Summing up his stay with the other provider, Vincent is very adamant about helping people understand the hype: “If it looks too good to be true, then it probably is.”
